NO TIME WASTED BY TKR CREW IN INVERCARGILL Team Kiwi Racing - TopicsExpress

NO TIME WASTED BY TKR CREW IN INVERCARGILL Team Kiwi Racing have wasted no time in starting preperations for the next round of the NZV8 Touring Car Championship in three weeks time. Following a tough week down South starting with a major engine failure in Christchurch and a second engine seeing TKR ruled out of the fourth round of the Championship in Invercargill, TKR have started to remove the second engine in as many weeks as the team look a what is the best options for TKR going forward with only one round of the TKR NZV8 Championship remaining. (This does not include the Australian V8 Supercar Championship round which has not been confirmed as yet). Picture 1: TKR Crew start removing the engine in Invercargill. Picture 2: Engine removed. TKR will remain at the Invercargill round of the NZV8 Touring Car Championship till the meeting closes on Sunday night. As frustrated as we are to not be racing after all the hard work and late night put in by many this week, it would be easy to pack up and go home right now but we have come so far to be here in Invercargill and the weather is just brilliant. In addition we have so many supporters of TKR throughout the South Island that we want to stay here till the end of the race meeting on Sunday night so we can catch up with the many friendly faces we have come to know over the years. We also have a number of sponsors joining us tomorrow for lunch at the track in the TKR Hospitality marquee.
