Looking at inclusionary housing, increasing the impact of The Barnes Housing Trust, and other strategies. -Economic Equity and Jobs - Tuesday, November 18 - 6:00 PM - at the UAW Union Hall (6207 Centennial Blvd) - Has met with Chamber of Commerce, state economic development office, Metro economic development, many others. How can we make sure that incentives given to businesses to locate here are matched with commitments for jobs and job training? -Criminal Justice Task Force - Monday, December 1 - 6:00 PM - at Greater Bethel AME Church (1300 South St) - Has met with Juvenile Court Judge, Police Chief, Public Defender, others. Looking at links between school discipline and the criminal justice system, reentry from jail, problems regaining drivers licenses, and restorative justice to reduce incarceration.
