NOOooo! Im so bummed. Dan just called to tell me that the International Marketplace in Waikiki is gone! I loved that place. Its been in Waikiki since 1957 and it was so much fun. Open-air shopping from smaller merchants, cheap and fun souvenirs, and an awesome food court with free hula shows every night. Now theyre making a damned Saks next to a Macys. WHO GIVES A SH%# ABOUT ANOTHER MALL??? Bad move, Honolulu. I gotta agree with the author of the article -- Aloha ‘oe Market Place.
