NORTHCONNEX APPROVED ..... surprise ... surprise ... the nsw government appears to have wiped the floor with its constituents, hasnt it, yet again? Hereunder the responses of some members of NORTHCONNEX - Community Against Polluting Stacks Sally Thio commented on Elizabeth Johnsons post in Community Against Polluting Stacks (NorthConnex). Sally Thio 6:45pm Jan 15 The approval disregards the concerns of the community. What can we do now? Jennie Minifie 6:23pm Jan 15 Of course it was approved. All of the electorates are considered rusted on conservative seats! The Govt will now rush to sign the contracts locking in the approval before the March election. Deja vu? Remember the M2! Elizabeth Johnson 6:05pm Jan 15 Paul Christenson a big thank you to you and Alan. Wendy WU 5:45pm Jan 15 Hi Elizabeth, I am very disappointed with this Liberal Government which had no response to our community. From now on, I wont vote Liberal any more. I recognized this hopeless government has made a big mistake is ONLY think about MONEY TALK. They never ever think about our CAPS community. Thank you so much for sending us update news. Best Regards Wendy 发自我的 iPhone Paul Christenson 5:36pm Jan 15 Well done Barry. Great act of gutlessness for the people who elected you. Adam Rabinowicz 5:28pm Jan 15 This is terrible. View All Comments Original Post Elizabeth Johnson 4:30pm Jan 15 NorthCON has been approved (with conditions). Still wading through the conditions, but some of them look pretty scary in terms of the lack of protection they give to our community. This is a disaster for the communities of Wahroonga and WPH. I will now lobby for the Wahroonga stack to have OFARRELL written down one side, in big, bold, red letters- so that generations to come will remember the guy, that sat by collecting a pretty good salary, and allowed Wahroonga to be wrecked. Special mention should also go to FRED NILE and his political novice PAUL GREEN who told CAPS they were on our side, and then refused to support the Greens upper house enquiry. They then promised us a meeting with Baird, Gay, etc, etc, but then conveniently forgot to actually organise it. Come March, I wont be voting Liberal or CDP! https://majorprojects.affinitylive/public/163aa1c9b211c5d126fef2468a30e597/Instrument%20of%20Approval.pdf majorprojects.affinitylive majorprojects.affinitylive
