NOT ALL WHO ARE JOBLESS ARE UNEMPLOYED:I want to start by commending the efforts of the government in reducing the numbers of unemployed youths by making them under-employ,atleast halve of a loaf is better than non.An unemployed person is someone who does not have a job but is actively seeking work.In order to qualify as unemployed for official and statistical measurement,the individual must be without employment,willing and able to work,of the officially designated working age and actively searching for a position.Youth unemployment rates are historically double and its a serious challenge that needs to be face.Since unemployment is defined as those out of work but actively seeking work, the youth that are out of work but not seeking work are not a part of the unemployment statistics.Its funny nowadays that our politicians are not reaching out to those who really need job but focus on empowering those who are not even qualify and not seeking for any position.Tell me where to place somebody who dont have any certificate and learn not any handy work and business?,what category are they?.It is irrational of any government to be paying thugs systematically through employment they are not needed.Most of them were giving that job not to be going to the offices but to be in the government payroll while they are neglecting the unemployed youths who are able,capable and willing to work.I want to use this medium to appeal to the state government and others who are in position to stop pacifying thugs but focus more on the productive youths who are jobless.I will also like to commend the government on KWABES program,its a very good initiative and since it comes to existence a lot of people have benefited,we need more of such program that will not be politicise and also implore the government to give the beneficiaries permanent employment.Our government should stop being the government of their party and turn government of the people regardless of their party differences.I wish my state and the people the best of the best
