NOT FOR SALE But I do have a question. The little brown dog, female a couple months over a year old and a total mix (Maltese, Pomeranian, dachshund, possible chihuahua) She is a total turd, whines to much, begs to much, way to needy...and that wouldnt bother me...but her digging does. She has succeeded in digging nearly two foot deep holes in my backyard. She also tends to be a escape artist and has to be on a yard stake every time shes outside be it with myself and others or just being out with my other two dogs, there are times shes off it so that she and my other dogs can play so she gets to run off her energy. Right now shes in a kennel after having been spanked for digging in the same hole she has been digging in off and on no matter what I do she keeps going back to it, that as well as with a different hole that is only a couple feet away, both are located off of my back porch in full view of my sliding glass door. I have had her in booties, she has been muzzled, only for short periods of time to let her know she has done wrong, I have taken her out on her lead and walked her so she could only potty then go right back inside until I felt I could trust her. My dogs have been outside for no longer than thirty minutes, and sometimes she can last that long without digging which is a small miracle, but it wasnt even thirty minutes and she had dug a hole deep enough she could have disappeared into it. Its the same dang hole that she has been getting in trouble for. What are your suggestions for digging and how can I solve this because this digging is getting on my last nerve.
