We may look as though we have it all together, still sometimes we want you to ask us is there anything we need? When we ask you a question, we want the truth, but in a loving way that helps us to grow and become better. We enjoy forehead kisses because it places us closer to your heart. Sometimes we just want to bum around in our sweats and cuddle. We are not looking for the night to end physically but rather emotionally connected. Understand that listening does not necessarily involve touching. When we do nice things for you its because we care, not because were needy or desperate. We want your actions and words to align. We want to be appreciated, supported and praised. We are emotional and so words mean a lot to us. We know you love us, yet we never get tired of HEARING it. We never get tired of you SHOWING it.
