NOTICE OUTSOURCING OF PASSPORT AND CONSULAR SERVICE TO M/s VF Services (UK) M/s VF Services (UK) has been providing Visa services on behalf of the Embassy since February 2008. Ithas now been awarded a contract to provide visa services up to 31 December 2018. Since 02 January 2015, the application forms for visa are being accepted at five centres in France, viz, Paris, Lyon, Marseilles, Strasbourg and Bordeaux. It has also been decided to outsource passport and consular services, in addition, to M/s VF Services (UK). With effect from 15 January 2015, application forms for passport and consular services will also be accepted at five Centres, viz, Paris, Lyon, Marseilles, Strasbourg and Bordeaux. It will enable greater accessibility of these services to Indian community residing in various regions of France. Applications for visa, passport and consular services can be deposited at any of these five Centres, depending on the convenience of the applicant irrespective of the place of their residence. The addresses of these Centres are given below: 1. Paris: 42-44, Rue de Paradis, 75010 Paris 2. Marseille: 18-22, Rue Edmond Rostand, 13006 Marseille 3. Lyon: 21, Avenue Georges, Pompidou, 69486 Lyon 4. Strasbourg: 20, place des Halles, 67000 Strasbourg, Tour Europe-13th Floor 5. Bordeaux : 81, Boulevard Pierre 1er, 33110 Le Bouscat, Bordeaux For detailed information please visit vfs-in-fr. Embassy of India has not authorized any other Agency/Agent to receive visa, consular and passport applications and fees and it will not be responsible for transactions made through any other Agency or any other website. The following Passport and related Consular services will be rendered through the above five Centres from 15/01/2015: - Issue / reissue of passport - Renewal of Short Validity Passport - Issue of Identity Certificate - Issue of Birth Certificate based on the information in the Passport - Registration of Birth and issue of passport to the new born baby - Issue of Certificate of Concordance to justify the discrepancy between the name in the Birth Certificate and the Passport - Attestation of Life Certificate (for pension purpose) - Issue of ‘Certificat de Coutume’ for the purpose of marriage - Surrender Certificate of Indian Passports - Renunciation of Indian Citizenship Certificate Timings for acceptance of applications at Indian Consular, Passport and Visa Application Centres 1. The Passport, PIO and OCI Service applications will be accepted from 0900hrs. to 1300hrs. 2. Consular and Miscellaneous Service applications will be accepted from 0900hrs. to 1100hrs. Timings for collection of processed documents from the Visa Application Centres: 1600hrs to 1700hrs. Applications for the following services will be received directly at the Embassy of India (Consular Wing, 20-22, Rue Alberic Magnard, 75016 Paris) between 0930hrs and 1130hrs. The processed documents can be collected the same/or next working day between 0930hrs to 1130hrs. - Issuance of Emergency Certificates/Short Validity Passports to Indian nationals on account of loss of Passport during their visit to France. - Issuance of Sworn Affidavit in lieu of a Surrender Certificate. This is applicable for persons of Indian origin born in India and having foreign nationality by acquisition or by birth and never held Indian passport. - Attestation services for legal documents - Registration of Death of Indian nationals
