NOTICE: Unfortunately Friends & Supporters of the Furness LGBT Community group - will be not be frequenting the Crystal Palace pub in the near future. One of our members being both verbally and physically assaulted, last week, in what was clearly a homophobic attack, by the language used. Due to the groups strict confidentiality policy the person’s identity will not be disclosed, even within the group or to the police. I have however logged this as a hate crime and contacted the police stressing anonymity. I have had at least 3 other complaints of LGBT people not feeling comfortable in this establishment. This is not up for discussion, as we will not compromise on safety. Regards Lee
