NOVEMBER 2014 : 1.INFORMATION and UPDATES Thank you to Kawal Jhun Salalima for attending and representing SMUK during the recent Samahang Magdalo Convention held at the Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City last November 8, 2014. The experience is priceless that have been passed over to all our members. We have in hand now an updated Presentation and a Samahang Magdalo Manual that will guide all of us in our endeavors. 2. WE CARE .. WE SHARE Our first Balikbayan box has been dispatched to the National Headquarters 2 weeks ago. We do not stop there.We will continue to collect any form of dry goods that can be of use to our Kababayans back home and hope to send more as soon as we can. 3. GET FIT DRIVE Winter is not an excuse. SMUK Basketball uniforms have arrived. The committee is still looking for quality prints at cheaper price. Everyone will be informed when they are ready for collection. We will be looking forward for more jumps and more sweats and flatter tummies soon. 4. WE INTEGRATE ... WE COOPERATE --- We are so thankful to be invited to the ENFiD-UK Induction of new officers. ENFiD-UK (European Network of Filipino Diaspora) - in short the organization of all the Filipino organizations in the UK. SMUK is in the process of submitting our registration to be an official member of the organization. By joining the organization we will be able to expand our ability to help our country by being linked to the other organizations. Kung para sa ikabubuti ng bayan.. ang Magdalo ay laging handang makipagbayanihan. ---We recently received a certificate of recognition from the Rancho Gwapo and the TAU Gamma Phi Org. UK for sponsoring the championship trophy during their 2014 Basketball League. WE are different groups, but we are all Filipinos away from home. IF we have one goal, one mission to create a good cause...then we the Magdalos will always be there. Thank you so much everyone for all your time and hard work in keeping the Samahang Magdalo spirit burning all the time. WELL DONE and CONGRATULATIONS to all of us.
