NOW JANUARY 29, 2014 Abadi, Jumblatt praise Hariri’s stance against Al-Qaeda BEIRUT - Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt met on Monday with Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Roken Abadi and discussed the latest political and security developments in the country and the region, Al-Hayat newspaper reported Wednesday. Abadi and Jumblatt both praised Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri’s statement that the Sunnis in Lebanon refuse to be a part of a war in Lebanon or in the region between Hezbollah and Al-Qaeda, the paper added. Both parties voiced the importance of benefiting from Hariri’s stance and basing on it to prevent a Sunni-Shiite strife in Lebanon.
