NRI’s website inaugurated Hyderabad, November 23: Govt. of A.P. has inaugurated a new web portal apnri.ap.gov.in to provide registration online to the NRIs. They can register their applications online for getting various educational certificates. At present, NRIs used to stand in long queues for getting their degrees attested by the competent authorities in Secretariat. Mr. D. Sridhar Babu, Minister of Civil Supplies inaugurated this website. He told that it will be very useful for the NRIs. They can register the details of their employment in foreign countries on this website. He further told that many people have gone to other countries from the districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Kareem Nagar, Kadapa and West Godavari for getting education or jobs. This website has been launched as a pilot project for these districts. He also told that due to “Nithaka” policy of Saudi Arabia, many workers are ready to come back to India. In addition to these persons, there are 432 individuals from the state who do not have visa documents. They have requested Mr. Vaylaar Ravi, Minister for Overseas Affairs for providing free air tickets. Their requests are being considered by the department.
