NRM owned English Electric loco 801 will be making a very rare one - TopicsExpress

NRM owned English Electric loco 801 will be making a very rare one off main line movement from Port Dock to Dry Creek and return tonight. There have been a very high number of rumours circulating about this movement. Locomotive 801 is going to the GWA loco facility for turning on the turntable and returning to the Museum. It is scheduled away from Port Adelaide Junction at 1805hrs....and will run via Woodville to WYE cabin, cross over and run to Dry Creek South. The same will occur on the return....a couple of hours later. Please refrain from trespassing on railway corridor land, and please remember the GWA yard and loco facility area is not open to the public. We greatly appreciate the support from DPTI/PTS and GWA to enable this movement to occur. Please feel free to share your photos of tonights movement on the Museums Facebook page.
