NRPS Police Chief Betting on Icedogs Game As a partner with Special Olympics Ontario and the O.H.L. the Niagara Ice Dogs will be teaming up with local Special Olympians at the Niagara IceDogs vs. Saginaw Spirit game on Friday February 7th ( 7:00 pm ) at Jack Gatecliff Arena . The Special Olympians will be assisting them with the display tables and donation buckets. The game is an opportunity to raise the profile of local athletes and bring together the community, sports fans and local Special Olympic Athletes. Last year the event raised $1,200. Niagara Regional Police Chief Jeff McGuire and Michigan Saginaw Police Chief Brian Lipe have a gentlemans bet on the line. I called Chief Lipe, and we decided that the losing teams Chief would wear the opponents Jersey around town for a day said McGuire.
