Attending: RMS Advice: Avoid the area Use alternative route Other Info: The Alpine Way between Jindabyne to Thredo village remains open aswell as businesses within the Khancoban village. Motorists intending to travel on the Alpine Way between Khancoban and Thredbo near the National Parks and Wildlife Gate at Thredbo will be redirected to travel on the Snowy Mountains Highway via Tumut, Tumbarumba and Khancoban. The alternate route from Mount Selwyn to Tooma is via Elliott Way. This detour adds about three and a half hours to the journey so motorists are advised to delay non-essential travel.
