#NSWRFS Hornsby/Ku-Ring-Gai Fire Control Centre tonight for their Annual Awards Ceremony. Joining Mayor Steve Russell and Local MP Matt Kean, we presented 45 members with National (9) and NSWRFS Long Service (36) medals in recognition of 871 years of service to the community. Vivienne Miller was recognised for her 40 years, Dave McMonnies for 46 years and John ABeckett for 47 years of service. Special recognition tonight for Ian Wildman, who lost his battle with prostate cancer last month, being recognised posthumously for more than 30 years of service. His medal was proudly accepted by his son Brock who was joined by Ians daughter Sasha and wife Kathy. Congratulations Everyone.
