NTV are the official broadcasters: National television station NTV Uganda will be the local official media broadcasters of the FIVB Kampala Beach Volleyball Open slated for September 24th – 29th September ,in Kampala according to Eddie Okila, the House of Talent Boss, the event organizers .The World beach Volleyball open is the second biggest event on the FIVB calendar after the World Championship. Countries like Brazil, USA, South Africa, Netherlands, England, UAE,Nigeria, Angola, Mozambique Namibia and Algeria, India, Thailand and Germany have already confirmed participation in the week long Castle Lite sponsored tournament .The tournament is expected to attract about 10,000 tourists and will be televised in over 745 million homes worldwide. Uganda will be the first African Country to host the World Beach Volleyball open in 2013. The only other African country to host this year will be South Africa in December.
