NUI supports research by awarding fellowships and other awards valued at over €1.2 million The National University of Ireland will hold its annual awards ceremony on the 12th November to celebrate the academic achievements of its graduates and students. At the ceremony, the Chancellor of the University Dr Maurice Manning will present NUI Fellowships, Scholarships and other awards to the successful scholars. The total value of NUI awards in 2014 is over €1.2 million. Among the awards to be presented are five Post-Doctoral Fellowships, in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences. The areas of research, which will be pursued by the new Fellows, include Parkinson’s Disease, Green Chemistry, international student mobility and English literature.
