Hes likely housetrained, has nice leash manners, seems to like other dogs, and likes to be carried. His favorite snuggle place is in the arms of his favorite kennel person. He does need a forever place to snuggle though, and hopes youll come meet him today. 10/21/2013 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - NH ONLY Exam Type BEHAVIOR Vuitton showed cage aggression when being removed and snapped at the assessor, a towel had to be used to carry him out. In the eval room Vuitton did not show aggression towards the assessor, he sat next to assessor and allowed light petting but once positioning was attempted to begin handling Vuitton kept distance and appeared to use avoidance techniques to get away from assessor. He would not allow positioning so the handling items were omitted from SAFER and only resources and dog-dog were assessed. Vuitton growled and bit the assess-a-hand during the food guarding assessment. He was not interested in toys but showed some concerning behavior during the rawhide evaluation - stiffening and growling, but did not escalate to a snap or bite to the assess-a-hand. He approached the helper dog with friendly body language. Food: 5. Dog tries to bite. Toy: 1. Minimal interest. Dog may smell or lick toy, then turn away. Rawhide: 4. Dog freezes and growls. Dog-dog: 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, lip long or neutral.
