NYC URGENT! Zira needs our help. Please tell all your friends about her and help save her life. Thanks! A volunteer writes: Zira lets you know that it is not OK to pass in front of her kennel and not to take her out. The first day I met her, I succumbed to her charm and her pushiness and off we went for a walk . Zira was very tense and barked at everything and everyone in sight. She is young, energetic and a kennel is not to her liking. I quickly sheltered us in a pen and gave her a talk accompanied of course by caresses. Zira calmed down almost instantaneously, electing my lap as her desk and looking at me with the eyes of a devoted pupil. She looked like she would do anything to be cared for and loved. She was all kisses, rolling on her back for belly and chest rubs, tail wagging, a huge smile on her face, all excited to be in company. Each time I spent with her, it was like she had not seen me for a whole week... Zira is absolutely gorgeous, regal. She weighs a little bit over what she should be. Her coat is well groomed snow white and bright orange. Her eyes are full of life, interactive and complete the picture of a very attractive dog. Zira pulls a little on the leash, she sits on command and eliminates on the way. She is fine nearing other dogs. She listens when I tell her to slow down but just for a little while. Zira is young and energetic and would be a great companion for an active owner or family who likes to walk, run and explore the outdoors.
