NYCLASS/PeTA/WAR/Coalition to Ban Horse Drawn Carriages made a very big deal about nothing and called a press conference! They claimed that they were going to expose the horrific and unreported hit and run reports they got from filing a Freedom of Information request to the NYPD. They received this report 4 months ago, and this is the news they tried to make of it. Bless this reporter for calling attention to the obvious, that this wasnt news, it was ridiculous to waste everyones time trying to claim that allegations and unfounded complaints were actual hit and run crashes. I guess cats and dogs need to be banished from Manhattan, because they get hit by cars every day, and Allie Feldman claims that even one accident with a horse is too many and that horses should disappear from the city. Of course we all know that horses are much more likely to be injured in a pasture or a paddock than on the streets near Central Park - according to official records.
