NYP Radio programs to kick off tomorrow The National Youth Parliament will have its first radio program starts tomorrow, as part of our project to promote civic participation in legislature and popularizing the Local Government Act. Having had over 40 up-and-coming young parliamentarians trained in great detail on transparency, accountability, good governance, radio presenting, the constitution of The Gambia and communication strategies, our members are now ready to engage elected representatives on issues of national importance. Tomorrow we will have members of the National Executive Council of the NYP - the supreme body of the NYP - to explain the rational behind the project.
