NYS TRANSFORMATION AGENDA:- Eliud Owalo, the NYS has been and always is a reserve to supplement the KDF, its command is under IG as recently directed by the President but hosted at its Parent Ministrys MoDP under Madam Anne Waiguru because of Youth components. Besides paramilitary training that transforms most of our youths to disciplined patriotic Kenyans kitted to volunteer, there is a Mentorship programme in a discipleship agenda as well as a culture of community and saving,tenets that most youth lack. There is also civil works/ road construction component in NYS transformation including engineering, again for our Youth. Owalo I feel you on security issues but do you think these private companies securing our buildings are well trained, most of them are buglers stealing in our offices, what is wrong with NYS getting us young patriotic and well trained Youth, I would love to see more.. Look at the transformation agenda which I have just glossed over, I feel you did not read it, kindly provide your email address I send it to you so that you can read it. The budget of 22b in such an agenda is not adequate nor is 6b uwezo fund, 7b youth fund and 30 percent Agpo on procurement translating to over 300b worth of business for youth, Mr President, just like devolution, do more... Lastly I know of your interest in Kibera in the next election and I am well aware of Hon Ken Okoth as a sitting MP is riding on this and seemingly its got your attention, Kibera is transforming, please identify areas where this program can help, highlight so that the government works on them Prime minister Raila laid the stone, let the work go on. The patriotic sense NYS is imparting in our youth is welcome and I would love to see a president in my generation who served through NYS, Owalo I love your energy use it well in transforming lives, this country of ours is short of trust and discipline and although am not a jubilant I love the cord of transformation....
