Naan/Garlic Naan is the most favorite to all and surely want to make at home…I tried and it really comes out well…I serve it with mutton and you can serve it any other curry also… Garlic Naan: Ingredients- All Purpose Flour (Maida): 1 1/2 cup Wheat Flour: 1 1/2 cup Active Yeast: 1 pack or 7oz or 2 1/4 tsp Sugar: 1 tsp Salt: 1tsp Yogurt: 1/2 cup (It should be room temperature) Oil or melted butter: 2tsp Minced garlic: according to your taste Coriander Leaves (Cilantro): 1/2 cup finely chopped Luke warm water: 3/4 cup Method: In a large bowl take the luke warm water, then add the yeast, salt and sugar. Stir it and cover the mixture for 10 min. After that add both the flours, garlic paste, oil, yogurt and cilantro to the yeast mixture..( If you want the plan naan then no need to add the garlic and cilantro)..Add water if required and kneed into a smooth and soft dough.May be you feel sticky, but no need to worry!!! Cover it with a moist cloth and keep aside for 1 hr and it will be double in size. Now make a small balls and cover to again with a wet cloth for 15 min(If you don’t have enough time, then just start it now to roll)..Now on a dusting rolling bird take a ball and roll it into a small round of 2inch diameter..now with a rolling pin roll the dough and with hand just stretch out a little bit and make the oval shape..or you can make a circle like pizza..Preheat oven 500-550 F temp or the max temperature of your oven have(If you don’t have oven then just take a tawa and put the naan into it and after 3 min place the other side direct to the fire and you can use the griddle also)…then on the top of the naan, you can put some minced garlic and coriander again if you like the taste and just press those with a spoon….Now place the naan to the baking pan & back it for 2-3 min then turn to the other side and let it be for another 2 min..now take it out and spread butter on it..serve it hot with any carry…. For mutton recipe give me some time..let me type.. and it will be in the comment section...
