Naga City Feast Nov 10, 2013 Sunday, 2P - 5PM With one of my two beloved sons Started with the Holy Mass Original Pilipino Magnificence Series TALK 1: Pasasalamat (gratitude) vs Utang na Loob (debt of gratitude) - notes Gid created us as Filipinos for a special purpose. We must learn to have our internal & external traits balanced & in harmony. GRATITUDE - natural or 2nd nature of Filipinos, its in our DNA! We always consider everything as a manifestation of Gods divine & loving providence, all coming from Him, we are always thanking Him even for our difficulties. We only need a little gift from God but we give Him a lot of gratitude. Our thoughts attract the things we have so our common or general attitude of thankfulness is a positive attraction to what are positive. Blessings are designed by God to be shared with others. Keeping too much wealth just for oneself will make onems life miserable. What is excessive materially is detrimental to us. Thanksgiving keeps us anchored on God. Gratitude is the best magnet for what we dream about our & our loved ones future. It makes us happy, humble & hopeful. Debt of gratitude may lead us to evil. How? When we expect too much that we will be repaid by the persons we help or have done good to ir for. It becomrs a deadly weapon of control. So we must never expect or ask something in return for our own generosity. Why? Well get frustrated & well get a lesser reward from heaven.. Instead we must always go to GOD!
