Nahida at Poetry for Palestine has posted a rather remarkable article extensively documenting Jewish hatred of Gentiles, as expressed on certain Jewish websites. We often hear of “anti-Semitism” as being this terrible problem that supposedly is on the rise and that imperils Jews the world over–and in certain countries (France comes to mind especially) you can even get thrown in jail for making statements perceived as being too “anti-Semitic.” But never do we hear about “anti-Gentilism” (which is the term Nahida coins), either in terms of condemnations of it, or otherwise, something which qualifies as a rather perverse incongruity since Jewish hatred for Gentiles seems to be a problem at least as bad, if not far worse, than the converse. I say this because not only is anti-Gentilism apparently quite widespread in the Jewish community, but it seems for the most part to be openly and blatantly expressed–by individuals and even by “respected” organizations such as Chabad–without anyone ever publicly calling them out on it. What this boils down to on a practical level is that Gentiles can be fired from their jobs, or denied tenure, on the basis of angry or negative comments about Jews, but that the same standard does not apply when Jews express malice or distaste for Gentiles. The hostility can even reach the point of advocating, or at least justifying, the murder of Gentiles, with the offender suffering little in the way of opprobrium or retribution. Most of us have heard of the controversial Torat Ha’Melech, or The King’s Torah, a book written by the Israeli Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira and which justified the killing of Gentile babies “if it is clear they will grow up to harm us.” Published in 2009, the book generated a fair amount of negative publicity, at least on Internet sites if not so much in the mainstream media. But how many of us have heard of the book, Yalkut Shaiylos u’Teshuvos, published in 2011? That one seems to have slipped under the radar. Written by a rabbi from the Skvere Hasidic sect of Judaism, the book commands Jews to hate all Gentiles, asserting that “the evil thoughts of Gentiles contaminate the world’s atmosphere and create ordeals for Jewish children.” Now imagine if the shoe were on the other foot, and it was a Gentile saying such things about Jews–imagine the fallout there would be. The Skevere sect was founded in the mid 19th century in Ukraine and is today based in New York. The book has reportedly been endorsed by the group’s head rebbe, yet apparently the sect is considered reputable and of good standing. Quite tellingly, the article on Skevere at Wikipedia mentions none of this. Nahida has gathered a large number of quotes such as these from different Jewish websites, and her documentation includes not only links back to the sites but also screen shots (lots of them!) in case the incriminating material should ever be removed. Her article begins with the following notation: NOTE: This article contains EXTREMELY IMPORTANT links and screenshots, please save everything you can. I don’t expect them to allow such damning evidence against them out in the open for long Remember, this is NOT the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, therefore they cannot claim that all these books are forgery She then goes on to write: Don’t come moaning about the world’s antisemitism, until you are prepared to man up and face and discuss the rampant Jewish anti-gentilism ideology
