Najib defends his ‘kangkung’ remark, again I think he still misses the point. The crux of the issue is his remark as to why the government is blamed whenever the prices of goods rise, but never praised when they fall. Why should the government be praised for the fall of kangkung prices which the Najib government has contributed nothing to? Electric tariff, tolls, and assessment tax, if they fall, yes, I would agree that the government should be praised, but NOT the price of kangkung or sawi! If you want to give examples, give relevant examples, not examples of something not related to your efforts... i.e. dont claim credit for what you have not done, period. As simple as that!!! UMNO is full of half-past six logicians. Malay race becomes Malays as defined by the constitution... because all Malays are Muslim, according to the Constitution, therefore Malay = Muslim, and therefore Race = Religion, blah, blah... and as a result, you get funny deductions, and funny conclusions.
