Name: Pegasus Height: 15.3hh Breed: Stationbred/Tb Age: 12 year old Colour: Palomino It has been a privilege to be trust with the care of this horse, and once ready to find him a great new loving home. He is much loved by his past owner and she has helped us write this profile for him now. You could not ask for a for a more kind, caring, talented and beautiful gelding. he was a very genuine horse – the type of horse you rarely come across. That has always stuck in my mind and throughout our 3 years together he has constantly lived up to this – a genuine horse with absolutely no nasty intentions. He is such a character – he never fails to make me smile Pony Club, beach rides, countless treks at Woodhill Forest & Whitford Bridle Trail, ODEs, farm hacks, cross country training, extensive road riding…the list goes on. He excels at every phase. I am not big on competing, however, at our first competition he won 2x 1st places in dressage, 2 x 2nd places in dressage and won the overall hack 95cm showjumping– taking home a huge trophy that I have admired in my room for the last year. With his previous owner he competed training level horse trials and 1.10m showjumping. Pegasus has a beautiful natural frame, soft mouth and is always keen to please, no matter what the discipline. He is very happy to take the lead when out trekking – also just as happy to be at the back. He is an extremely easy and safe boy. He has absolutely NO vices – great to shoe, catch, clip, float (he has only ever been in angle float or truck), wash, pull his mane, is not fazed by bikes, trucks, dogs, perfect with ditches, corners, liverpools, bareback riding etc. He is great with other horses – have never seen him kick, in saying this, he positions himself more at the top end of the herd. He definitely has more woah than go. Most importantly he is SAFE. He can be turned out for months and then you can jump on without any issues, and he is act like you rode him yesterday. No matter how long the break and still feel 100% safe. Pegasus in a French link snaffle in all phases. Sadly the over the last two years he has had a couple of injuries both which he has had full vet care for and recovered fully from. At the start of 2013 he tore his check ligament in his front right leg - it has fully healed and he is sound. June 2014 he was badly kicked just below the hock in his nearside hind. Xrays were taken and will be pasted on with sale. He will be sold once back in full ridden work. We feel its best for Pegasus not to good to a high level jumping home or cross country home. He is only available to the very best of homes. Whoever is lucky enough to own this one in a million boy, I can assure them they will never have any regrets. They will know what I mean when I say he is truly beautiful from the inside out. Thank you Pegasus, for everything. We will be looking for the best home for this horse not the first person that contact us. He deserves a home where he will be loved and adored, ideally where he will be the only horses owned by the owner. Only due to the fact that this horse deserves the owner’s full time and commitment. Vet checks welcome on any horse we have for sale at buyers cost.
