Name: Rob_______ Message: Hello John. I was informed you are a diabetic like myself. We are on the Breeze for cruise number 3 but taking our first Carnival cruise since I was moved from pills and prescribed to have to take Insulin. My question is one I cannot seem to get an answer on so was told you may know personally. Is the refrigerator in our cabin able to store our insulin at 36 – 46 degrees F. Have you done this John successfully ? Please help as obviously I am nervous about this. Thank you John Well I am a type 2 diabetic and take a Metformin pill each day. I honestly do not know the answer to this so will ask the ship to check the temperature of the ships mini bar and see what it is. We obviously will store insulin at the Guest Services Desk as well but I wondered if any type one diabetics reading here would like to share their advice with Rob. I realise this is personal stuff but if you can, I am sure he and others would appreciate it. So diabetics………..type 1 and 2…………….let’s share our cruise experiences.
