Name of Choir: United English Baptist Church (UEBC) Junior Choir Album Title: Maranatha Year: 1988/1989 Uncle Jude (Jude Olotu) was our choir director. He was tall and played a guitar. He gently taught us all the songs that would eventually comprise our multi-track album right from our musty Sunday School classroom on Bornu Road and a few weeks later, we were checked into the NTA studios to do a live recording of our album. We were young, mostly between 8 and 13 years at the time but Uncle Jude made the impossible happen - he made us stars. Of all the songs we recorded that night, one came back for me this evening. A simple, sweet song that reminds us all to share the love of Jesus Christ with a world so desperate for love and attention. And for the members of UEBC Junior choir, tag others you remember were there. Lets rekindle this Jesus business.
