Nana passed today at 6:27am. By this time she was decently comfortable, & went peacefully. The world lost one truly remarkable lady today. She had a huge hand in raising me, & for that I am forever grateful. She held on way way way longer than anyone expected, shes one tough cookie. She even managed to open her eyes, & look at me one last time, though it was while I was telling her it was okay to let go, & it felt like a ha, to hell with that, it meant more than I could ever put into words. She was one beautiful, feisty, kind hearted woman, & I hope to be half the person she was.
