Nancy Lusk, I dont recall if anyone ever fessed up to who was actually on the ladder...then Joan Allen Kirkland had me read a snippet from Descendents of Samuel Hampton Lusk..and it goes something like this: Billy was small and wiry. He was climbing a 12 foot ladder into the barn loft at about 9 months of age. (Written history by Winola Lusk Watt)...hmmmm..I think I now know who it was...it was the Birthday Boy...Happy Birthday Uncle Billy!!
