Nancy wrote..I have a few questions or maybe just one big general one. My father is 85 AKA since June of last year. My siblings and I have been staying with my parents since he came home. One of us stays at night and then one sister or I are pretty much his primary caregivers during the day. He has come a long way with his prosthetic-Plie 2 -but has fallen several times and my mother is deathly afraid to be left alone with him. He has some back arthritis but overall he is in good health. I just dont know if I am stepping in too much or if I need to step back and let him do more. He wants to be walking without a walker but he has balance issue which he never had before we just dont know what way to go. I want to encourage him but I dont want to give him false hope either. Any ideas or help you can give would be great. Thanks for being here and listening. I hope this made sense.
