Nando seems to have surprised his fellow Diamonds as Head of House. The playful Tanzanian blows a whistle when he wants the housemates’ attention, and then barks out the orders. During his diary session, Hakeem told Biggie that everyone thought Nando’s tenure as HoH would be disastrous, but when he gives the orders, he isn’t being too forceful and they obey. And this was evident, when he called the housemates to read out this week’s task. You never know what Big Brother has up his sleeves and on Day 30, he thought an overnight camping trip in the garden was in order. With this week’s task about experiencing camp life and outdoor living, the Rubies and Diamonds decided to wager 100 percent. Armed with sleeping bags, two tents and a drum, four housemates had to man the fire at all times, making sure it did not die out. Although the Diamonds had a tough time deciding who should watch the fire, the Rubies made the best of the cold night, singing songs around the fire and telling classic camp tales. Earlier in the day, Namibia’s Dillish and Sierra Leone’s Bolt got new powers when they won the Power of No Task. It’s anyone’s guess who they’ll select to sit out the Head of House Task on Friday. They better make a strategic decision, as they’re nominated for eviction this week. Also on the chopping block are Zimbabwe’s Pokello and Hakeem, Namibia’s Maria, Kenya’s Annabel and Malawi’s Natasha. Voting lines are open until Sunday, 30 June at 6:00 CAT, so cast your vote to keep your favourite housemate in The Chase. source:
