Nanette wrote--My daughter was seriously hurt in a boat propeller accident 2.5 yrs ago. The ortho/plastic surgeons we amazing and saved her leg. In the past 2.5 years however the pain and functional issues makes her want and wish they had just amputated. She is only 17 and tired of the physical pain and non functionality of her leg. She feels bad about telling her doctors she wants to amputate her lower left leg, feels like they will be disappointed after all the effort they put in, but she cant move, cant function with the drag of her leg. I joined this group so she could read all the amazing strength and survival stories and realize it is her road to follow. Thank you for all the amazing stories of success!
