Narcissism is the pursuit of gratification from vanity, or egotistic admiration of ones own physical or mental attributes, that derive from arrogant pride. The term originated with Narcissus in Greek mythology who fell in love with his own image reflected in a pool of water. This sort of person lives to get esteemed by outside influences. Their co-workers, lovers, and friends often come and go through their personal agendas. If you dont look cool standing next to them or are of no service to them.....you are out of there. This person is learning a path with heart but through ego identification as being the polar opposite. You can love them on their journey but you dont have to be a puppet on their strings in the play of their life. They will attract someone else for those positions. Wish them well and move on. I got nothing better than the truth that speaks more than most of your lies that you tell yourself in todays world nobody cares about your false motives.
