Narok senior resident magistrate Allan #Sitati last week visited plots in the town whose ownership is in dispute and ordered a fresh survey of the area where the plots are. Siloma ole Kintet, Olo Mayian Partoip and Kayie ole Kunguru are fighting for the four plots valued at Sh80 million. Each of them claim the now-defunct Narok Town Council allocated them the plots. Kunguru claims to have bought the plots in 1996 from the former Narok Town Council chairman Kelena ole Nchoe and paid him with 150 sheep. The other two respondents on their part claim officials of council allocated them plots to them. The magistrate, who was accompanied by officers from physical planning and survey offices, ordered all parties to appear in court on October 14 for further hearing of the suit.
