Nasugbu’s Unusual Attractions I The ‘LAYONG BILOG River’ Brgy. Aga At Barangay Aga, just 15 minutes trek off the main highway from Manila, is one of the hidden treasures of Nasugbu. It is called ‘Layong Bilog’. ‘Layong Bilog’ is derived from a tagalog word “layon” which means deep and “bilog”, which means circle. It is a small stream passing through slippery jagged rocks about a couple of hundred meters and several small cascades ending in a small deep round pool where you can have a swim or even dare a 20 ft high dive. The place is also being called ‘Layong Bato’, because of the rocks surrounding the deep water. There is no garbage to be seen anywhere near it; only natural litter, no pollution, no loud noises, only birds and occasional sounds of branches of trees surged by the winds. Very few people know about it and how to get there, ‘Layong Bilog’ is but really a hidden treasure. (virtualtourist)
