Natasha Vargas-Cooper was too unfamiliar with Serial to prepare a good interview. She sets herself up as an adversarial to Sarah Keonig, instead of drawing on Keonigs year of objective investigation of the case. Very hack, unprofessional journalism on the part of Vargas-Cooper. At least she gives Jay a platform from which to verify that he perjured himself on the stand. And her lavish sympathy for Jay is not at all qualified by the fact that he admits to having prepared the grave for Hae Min Lee and then kept his mouth shut for a month until the body was found.
