National Forecast from Met Éireann. 15 June 2013 11:16 Today Spells of rain continuing this afternoon in north Ulster before slowly dying out this evening. Scattered showers elsewhere, some heavy and locally thundery up to late evening. Feeling cool with fresh and gusty, southwest to west winds. Highest temperatures 13 to 16 degrees Celsius generally but reaching only 11 or 12 degrees in the far north. Tonight Becoming mainly dry early tonight apart from isolated showers, and clear spells developing. Some mist or shallow fog patches will form in rural areas around dawn as winds fall light, variable generally. Turning cooler; lowest temperatures 5 to 9 degrees Celsius. Tomorrow A bright or sunny start to Sunday with any fog patches soon clearing. However, cloud will increase by afternoon in most areas. Outbreaks of rain will develop in south Munster and parts of south Leinster in the afternoon, while isolated showers will break out elsewhere. Winds will remain light to moderate, variable or easterly in many areas but fresh to strong, easterly winds will develop in southern counties. Highest temperatures 13 to 17 degrees, coolest in the south. Outlook Sunday night will see further rain affecting the southern coastal counties of the country, with some scattered showers elsewhere. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with light variable breezes some mist will develop also. Monday: At present it looks like the rain will continue to affect parts of south Munster and south Leinster, while for the rest of the country it looks like staying dry with just a few scattered showers. Temperatures should range from 15 to 19 degrees in light winds. It should stay dry on Monday night with lows of 7 to 10 degrees. On Tuesday rain will push into the west of the country, but amounts will be fairly small and parts of Leinster and east Munster should remain largely dry. The best of any sunshine will be in the southeast of the country, and the highest temperatures will be here too with highs of 15 to 19 degrees in light westerly winds. Generally dry on Tuesday night with just some light drizzle in northern parts, lows of 9 or 10 degrees. As it stands it will be a similar day on Wednesday with patchy rain and drizzle in parts of the north and northwest, while elsewhere should remain dry. Highs of 16 to 18 degrees.
