National Forecast from Met Éireann. 24 September 2013 06:25 Today Today will start off cloudy with fog in some areas. The fog will clear this morning and cloud will gradually break as well in many areas and some sunshine will develop. It will be dry for much of the day, but some light rain will develop in the southwest later this morning, and this will slowly spread to other parts, but most of the north and east will stay dry until evening. Another warm day for much of the country; highest temperatures will range from 17 to 22 degrees. Southeast winds will remain mainly light. Tonight It will stay very mild and humid tonight with fog in some parts again but otherwise it will be mainly dry. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in light variable winds. Tomorrow Tomorrow, Wednesday, will be another warm day. The will be a mix of cloud and sunshine and it will stay dry apart from a little drizzle. Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees in light southeast or variable winds. Outlook Headline : Remaining rather warm and humid for the rest of the week, with above average temperatures and some sunshine, though cloudier overall, with occasional outbreaks of rain or showers. Details: Wednesday night will be another mild and humid night and it will stay mainly dry. Fog is likely to form locally again. Winds will be light easterly. Thursday will be dry at first in many parts with sunny intervals, but cloud with outbreaks of rain in the southwest will gradually spread across the country. Still very mild with afternoon temperatures generally in the high teens. Winds will stay mostly light, easterly or variable in direction. Friday and the weekend : Early indications suggest that the weather will be mixed with occasional outbreaks of rain, with the risk of a few heavy showers, but some sunshine as well. It will still be mild for the time of year, though it is likely to turn a bit cooler over the weekend. Winds will probably be no more than moderate, from an easterly direction.
