National: ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office has stressed need for dialogues between Pakistan and India, saying these were essential for durable peace in the regions. Foreign office spokesman Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh, in New York will help ease tense situation between the two neighbours. The spokesman said if the meeting took place between the two premiers, then issue of tense situation would be raised. He said dialogue process with India was slow. Some people tried to stop ‘Dosti Bus’, he said and added that this issue will also be raised with India. The spokesman further said Kashmiri people should be given their due right, adding new opportunities will emerge between the two countries if the issue of Kashmir was resolved.
