National Leadership 101: Attitude and deeds of those whom you lead - TopicsExpress

National Leadership 101: Attitude and deeds of those whom you lead reflects your leadership. It is a self-fulfilling principle that if your leadership is about obtaining right results in the right way, then both in your homeland and all over the globe unlimited advances for mankind will be made by those whom you steer, but if your leadership is about blaming others and spinning protective stories to cover-up unending calamities that happen under your watch, then both in your homeland and all over the globe those whom you direct will produce for mankind unending disasters. John F. Kennedy, President #35, sought to put a man on the moon by the end of the decade. It happened. Richard Nixon, President #37, sought to open trade between the U.S. and the 1.5 billion people in the then 3rd-World economy China. It took 45-years, 2-generations, but by 2017 some predict China’s annual GDP will be greater than ours. Ronald Reagan, President #40, for the globe with conviction sought to have the world see the U.S. as the “beacon of light, … the shining city on the hill,” and to have the leaders of the “Evil Empire” end the Cold War, “tear down this wall,” and bring down the Iron Curtain denying freedoms to people. It happened. George W. Bush, President #43, for the globe with conviction advanced a “freedom agenda” for the Middle East and the African continent, hoping to foster new democracies and deliver way-of-life advancements for the people living in both areas. His success advancing that agenda caused the so-called Arab Spring [for democracies] to begin in 2005, and the drastic reduction in the spread of AIDS on the African Continent. Look it up. What exactly is President #44’s agenda? His lack of a mission statement has his captains steering their ships rudderless. The tragic results are abundant. Rome is burning. There’s 3-1/2 years before his replacement takes office. I didn’t vote for him, but he’s my President. Can someone with pull and his ear please tell him to do something. I’ll applaud any valuable mission he states with conviction and goes after. Expanding trade between the America’s? Making the U.S. energy independent? Sending the U.S. back to the moon to advance technologies? Banning A-Rod from baseball. Actually, A-Rod may have just banned himself.
