National Parenting Programme Congratulates Participants on the Completion Parenting Education Classes ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, September 25, 2013 – GIS: The Ministry of Social Development and Housing wishes to congratulate the eleven (11) participants who completed the Parenting Education Classes hosted by the National Parenting Programme in Crochu, St. Andrew’s. The Ministry commends the parents for making the special effort to attend these classes and encourages them to apply the skills learnt to their daily lives. Parents and Guardians in the communities of Gouyave, St. John’s and River Sallee, Patrick’s are invited to join the classes that are currently being conducted in their areas. The sessions in Gouyave are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the St. John’s Anglican Primary School from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. The sessions in River Sallee are held on Wednesdays at the River Salle Medical Clinic from 2:30 – 4:30 pm. The classes are aimed at assisting parents and guardians to meet the needs of their children and face the challenges of parenting in the 21st Century.
