National Weather Service Briefing 1.3.2015 #1 •A storm system will bring a widespread snowfall to the Commonwealth beginning late Monday Night continuing through Tuesday. –Light to moderate snow accumulations...generally less than 4 inches...expected for the Commonwealth. •Lowest amounts will be in the southeast •Some higher amounts could occur in the Western and Northwest mountains. •More significant lake effect snows are expected near Lake Erie. –These lake effect snows will start overnight tonight (Sunday) and continue into mid week Wm.
