National footballer Kevon Carter dies of a heart attack TTFA Press Release issued on February 28th, 2014 The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association would like to extend deepest sympathies to the family of National Men’s Senior Team player Kevon Carer who passed away this morning at the age of 30. Reports indicate that Kevon began suffering chest pains during a Defence Force training session, subsequently suffering a heart attack and passing away before he could receive treatment at the St James Health Facility. Further details will follow. Carter made 31 appearances for Trinidad and Tobago, scoring five goals while wearing national colours. He was a member of T&Ts Squad at the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup as well as the team that finished runners up at the 2012 Caribbean Cup Finals. He attended Mucurapo Senior Comprehensive. On December 30th, another National footballer, Akeem Adams passed away after suffering a massive heart attack in Hungary on September 25th, 2013. -End-
