National priority map: six new settlements - settlements Previous government Orthodox communities included in the list issued since then. Netanyahu (Photo: Kobi Gideon, GPO) More settlers, less anxious: the government is expected to approve today (Sunday) weekly meeting the new national priority map - a map that determines which communities in Israel are entitled to economic benefits. The list submitted to Ministers for approval includes more than 600 settlements, including 20 new communities that were not included in the previous national priority map from 2009. Of new settlements, nine are the settlements in Judea and Samaria - including outposts trained as localities only last year. Criteria for recognition in the community such as national priority areas are close to the border security threat posed settlement, date of establishment (the government supports the initiative of new settlements) and the distance between the towns large population centers. Except close to the border, it is flexible criteria that allow any government to put out settlements from the list. For example, the previous government of Benjamin Netanyahu is included in the list two Orthodox communities, who had been taken by the current government - Betar Illit settlement and settlement Harish in Wadi Ara. Doubtful whether the government in which companies were parties Shas and United Torah Judaism would confirm such a step against two large Haredi cities.
