( Native Prayer) Oh Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the wind. ( Hear me ) ! I come to you as one of your many children, I am small and weak. I need strength and wisdom ! may I walk in Beauty make my eye,s behold the red and purple sunset. make my hand,s respect the thing,s that you have made. and my ear,s sharp to hear your voice, make me wise so that I may know the thing,s that you have taught your children... the lesson,s that have hidden in every leaf and rock, make me strong not t be superior to my brother,s But to be able to fight my Greatest ememy : myself : make me ever ready to come to you with straight eye,s so that when life fade,s as the faded sunset my Spirit will come to you with out shame ( John Yellow Lark ) WADO
