Naval Base Guam to Conduct Tsunami Exercise SANTA RITA, Guam (Dec. 3, 2013) – Naval Base Guam (NBG) will conduct a tsunami exercise on the installation Dec. 12. The exercise will allow NBG and its tenant commands to exercise command and control capabilities in response to such a natural disaster and satisfy internal reporting and training requirements. The exercise will run from approximately 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see and hear increased activity associated with the exercise. NBG housing residents on main base are advised to prepare for increased traffic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and are advised to shelter in place during the duration of the exercise.
