Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (#NMCRS) office opens A new Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society office officially will open at Fleet and Family Support Center, 2600 Washington Ave., Newport News, at 11:30 a.m. today. The new office, which started pilot operations July 11, will offer quick assist loans to eligible active-duty sailors and marines. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The office is intended to serve those stationed at the Newport News Shipyard and at Navy and Marine Corps commands in Yorktown and Williamsburg. For more information, visit nmcrs.org.
